Is your Outlook sending the mail via SMTP? The error seems to indicate that the server doesn't like an address that you've sent it.

No, according to the people responsible for our mail server it does
not have any restrictions on it that should deny Vista messages.
I can send messages from Outlook on my Vista machine.
